Rose Adele (Ropson) Tenor was born August 5, 1923, in Luxemberg, WI, to Norman and Laura (Nellis) Ropson. Before being married, Rose lived most of her life in Algoma, Wisconsin where she graduated high school. She married Marvin J. Tenor, they spent 63 years together living most of their marriage in Green Bay.
This small statured lady of 98 years had an intense love for sweets, especially chocolate. She always said her best friend was her car because it took her wherever she wanted to go. She was a zealous shopper, a wizard at sewing making anything. Rose kept busy crocheting blankets, and made beautiful cross stitch patterns. Above all, she looked forward to spending time with her family, and was delighted when her family would visit and decorating her home for the holidays. During her life Rose wore various “hats” (while at assisted living she was cold so she was dressed in a variety of fun hats daily) but Rose did the bookkeeping for her husband’s business and worked outside her home at a dental office and craft store.
Survived by son, Roger (Jane J.) Tenor, daughter, Mary M. Adrians, daughter, Linda (Denis) Vanden Heuvel, 34 grandchildren, and 10 great great grandchildren.
Proceeded in death by her husband, Marvin J Tenor, son, Donald, her parents, son-in-law, Gerald “Jerry” Adrians; grandson, Chad Adrians; sister, Evelyn Vandenack, brother, Harvey Ropson, many sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces and nephews.
