Roy Wickman, 80, Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly October 18, 2017. Born on June 4, 1937, he is the son of the late Clarence and Myrtle (Root) Wickman. Roy served in the United States Army National Guard for many years. He was a proud Teamster driving truck for his entire work career. Roy enjoyed hunting, golfing, playing fast pitch softball, spending time at his cabin in Door County and his fishing trips to Arkansas. Roy was also an avid bowler-bowling two 300 games. He also enjoyed his meals at Barley’s Diner. Roy loved times spent with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
He is survived by his two children, Paula Sievert, and Darren Wickman; six grandchildren, Sarah, Alyssa, Rob (Amy) Doubeck, Jessica (Troy) Meyer, Andrew (Megan) Wickman, and Maxwell Jorgensen; thirteen great grandchildren, Caleb, Hayden, Jackson, Sophia, Mason, Madeline, Keegan, Ashton, Cali, Chase, Logan, Brock, and Lucas; two brothers, Darvin (Marilyn), Lyle (Virginia); one sister, Janis (Lee) Dechamps and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Ray; sister and brother-in-law, Luella (Elery) Manteufel; daughter-in-law, Susan Wickman; son-in-law, Doug Sievert.
Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird St, Friday October 27, from 4 PM until the time of the memorial service at 7 PM.
