Sherry (Wilber) Vorpahl, 83, Green Bay, passed away into the loving arms of Jesus August 10, 2018 surrounded by her family and friends. Born on March 22, 1935, she is the daughter of the late Martin and Frances (Smith) Wilber. Sherry married Donald "Eddy" Vorpahl in 1952 in Shawano and he preceded her in death in 1991. She was a homemaker and then worked at Schreiber Foods for twenty three years where she retired. Sherry was an avid Packer fan. She enjoyed bowling, darts, reading, playing pool, and was a passionate animal lover. Sherry was a strong independent woman who was a loving mother.
She is survived by her children, Roxann Wyman, Rusty Vorpahl, and Kim Vorpahl all of Green Bay, Lynn (Robert “Beako”) DeGrave of Lena; five grandchildren, Jamie VandenLangenberg, Mindy Vorpahl, Amanda Vandevelde, Corey DeGrave, and Janelle Wyman; five great grandchildren, Morgan, Logan, Kane, Adia, and Dylan; great great grandchild, Everett Vorpahl; faithful companion, Miley; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Sherry was preceded in death by her husband, Donald "Eddy" Vorpahl; four sons, Steven, Kevin, David and Lee Vorpahl; grandson, Little David; brothers, John Wilber, and Martin Wilber.
Visitation at Malcore Funeral Home, 701 N Baird St. Friday August 17, from 2 PM until the time of the service at 6 PM with Pastor Rick Parker officiating. Oneida Singers at 4 PM Friday.
