Theresa "Teri" Cornelius

Theresa “Teri” Lynn Cornelius, passed away Sunday evening, December 22, 2019, at a local care facility with both her loving sister, Krissi, and Krissi’s family at her side. Born May 5, 1959, she is the daughter of the late Merlin and Ruth (VandenBloomen) Laes. Teri had worked for a number of years as a cashier in retail sales for the Oneida Nation. In her younger years, she enjoyed going to stock car races and also crocheting. Many wonderful memories were created and shared while playing Rummy Royal with Krissi’s family.

Teri is survived by her sister, Krissi (Marv) Dorn; her niece, Elizabeth (Casey) Bins; her special “Little Buddy” and great-nephew, Beau; her many dear friends at Ridgeview Apartments in Oconto Falls; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Merlin and Ruth Laes; and her brother, Rodney Laes.

Private family services were held with the assistance of Malcore (East) Funeral Home.

Teri’s family extends a very special thank you to the caring staff of SouthernCare Hospice Services, especially Kara and Melissa; we appreciate all that you did for Teri.
