Walter “Wally” Sulewski Jr., 77, Green Bay, passed away April 5, 2016, after a battle with lung disease. Born on March 18, 1939, in Amberg, WI, he is the son of the late Walter and Florence Sulewski. He was married to Paulina Anderson on September 9, 1961. Wally worked at Goodman Lumber Co. when they were first married, then at Proctor and Gamble for 27 years as a Millwright, retiring in 1994. He was a longtime member of Saints Peter and Paul. Wally enjoyed fishing in his earlier years, watching sports, especially the Packers and the Cubs, Nascar, and going to the casino. He was the known neighborhood caregiver: running people to their appointments, shoveling snow, and running errands.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Paulina; three children, Ken (Cheryl) Sulewski, Maria (Steve) Fox, Jason (Holly) Sulewski; four grandchildren, who were the light of his life: Jerry, Cody, Alexis, and Nicholas. Many have heard of their accomplishments. He is further survived by one brother, James (Olda) Sulewski; he had a special buddy, Koke; many sisters and brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Also, his faithful companion, Lucky who will miss him dearly.
Wally was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird St Friday, April 8, from 9 AM until the Mass at 11 AM at Saints Peter and Paul Church.
