William “Bill” M. Wright, 88, died peacefully after a brief illness on July 1, 2016, 10 years to the day after his dear wife Pat died. Bill was born August 17, 1927 son of the late Ervin and Helen (Heinz) Wright.
In seventh grade Bill met the love of his life Pat Hugenroth. They both graduated from East High School. After high school Bill proudly served his country in the US Navy. Following his marriage to Pat in 1948 he attended a business college in Milwaukee. Upon returning to Green Bay Bill owned and operated a Texaco Service Station. In 1951 he founded Wright Industrial Supply, from which he retired in 1992.
Bill was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was a caregiver to his wife for many years. He enjoyed planning and hosting family parties. Bill was an avid BBQ master, a big sports fan, he enjoyed playing cards, golfing, fishing and traveling with his late wife Pat. His Catholic Faith guided him throughout his life.
Bill is survived by his one son, Bill (Rosie) Wright, Green Bay; three daughters, Susie (Jim Bell) Adkins, Sycamore, IL, Kris (Bill) Johnson, Green Bay, Vickie (Pat) Mullins, Manitowoc; sister, Carolyn (Dick) Cywinski, Wisconsin Rapids; sister-in-law, Pat Wright, De Pere; 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife; and his two brothers, Erv and Roland Wright.
Visitation will be held Wednesday July 6, 2016, at Malcore Funeral Home (East) 701 N. Baird St. from 9-11AM. Following the visitation, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM at Saints Peter & Paul Church. Entombment at Allouez Catholic Chapel Mausoleum.
