William Hathaway

January 5, 1933 — March 9, 2024

William Hathaway, 91, Green Bay, passed away March 9, 2024.  Born on January 5, 1933, in East Greenwich, RI, he is the son of the late Edgar and Ida Hathaway. He served our country in the United States Army from 1953 to 1955.  He married Constance Brown February 3, 1962, at St Rose of Lima in Warwick, RI. William worked a variety of careers in his life working for Engelhard Industries, Hallmark Findings, and Columbus Chemical Industry.  He was a member of the American Electro Platers Society, American Chemical Society, AMVETS, LaFayette Band, and the Rhode Island Bavarians.  William enjoyed photography, music-especially the trumpet, and active in the Avenger Band Club.  He was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church.

He is survived by his four children, Anne Hathaway of Green Bay, William (Carol Ann) Hathaway Jr., of East Greenwich RI, Deborah (Bradley) Gass, of Savoy IL, and James Hathaway of Davenport, IA; six grandchildren, Olivia Hathaway of Green Bay, WI, William F Hathaway III of Dedham, MA, Alison K. of East Greenwich, Brooke of Pittsburgh, PA, Emma G. of East Greenwich, Braden J. of Moline, IL.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024, at 11 AM at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 710 N. Baird. St.
