Winona M. Brickner, 90, Green Bay, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2019, at Bayshore Village. She was born April 6, 1929, in Oconto, daughter to the late Peter and Mae (Westcott) Jarvey. Winona had worked for H.C. Prange Co. and St. Mary’s Hospital.
She was invited to Nashville to sing with Jim Reeves early in her life; however, she chose to be with her children instead.
Winona was a member of St. Francis Xavier Cathedral.
Survivors include her son, Darcey (Shelia) Schaut, Green Bay; 2 grandchildren, Matthew Schaut and Jenny (Joel) Petzner; and cousin Joyce Jarvey Anderson and her husband Dan Schoenrock.
She was preceded in death by her husbands: Francis Schaut, Bill Bailey, Earl Walton, and Gordon Mullens; brothers and sisters: John, Les (Butch), Roy Sr., Willard, and Mary Hall; and daughter, Sharon (George) Thorne.
Family and friends may visit Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird, on Thursday, August 1, 2019, from 10 a.m. until the hour of prayer service at 11 a.m., with Fr. Brian Belongia officiating. Interment will follow in Abrams-Stiles Catholic Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at
